Matthias, geboren 1971, ist als Komponist und Texter hauptsächlich im Bereich Christliche Popularmusik tätig. Gemeinsam mit Christina Siebert (von 2003 bis 2016 Sängerin und Songwriterin der Band) gründete Matthias 2003 die Formation »Sternallee«. Als Songwriter und Keyboarder der Band sind einige seiner Lieder auf CDs erschienen, manche seiner Lieder haben Eingang in einschlägige Liederbücher gefunden.

Beruflich betreut der promovierte Paläontologe als Verlagshersteller und Produktmanager im Vier-Türme-Verlag der Abtei Münsterschwarzach die Buch-, Kalender- und Hörbuchproduktion und die liturgischen Ausgaben der Abtei.

Matthias, born in 1971, works as a composer and lyricist mainly in the field of Christian popular music. Together with Christina Siebert (the band’s singer and songwriter from 2003 to 2016), Matthias founded the band »Sternallee« in 2003. As the band’s songwriter and keyboardist, some of his songs have appeared on CDs and some of his songs have found their way into relevant songbooks.

Professionally, Matthias, who holds a doctorate in palaeontology, is responsible for book, calendar and audio book production and the abbey’s liturgical editions as a publisher and product manager at Vier-Türme-Verlag, the publishing house of Münsterschwarzach Abbey.
